i bought two small coffee at mcdonalds and one small shake. recipe says the two small coffee equals to 3.38 exclude price of shake and tax.

mcdonalds site on dollar menu have a hot coffee in it.

i feel like im being over paid. how is two small coffee is 3.38 dollar? usually one small coffee is 1.00 to 1.17 how can two equals to 3.38?

dollar menu even have coffee in it. dont small coffee and dolla menu coffee the same thing?

can someone help me confirm that it im being over paid? cashier messed me up? i dont want to go professional and deal with mcdonalds directly since it is such a small thing.... i just want to ask from fellow normal consumers.

You are correct. You are being overpaid. No matter where you work and what they are paying you, its too much.
 
They charged you for bulk coffee. Definitely complain. Jump over the counter to show them you mean business.
 
So instead of asking the cashier you decide to sit there in angst for a few hours and then ask some random people on the Internet about this dollar dilemma.

Srsly - sometimes individual mcd's do not have items on the dollar menu. By my work they don't even know what an "egg and cheese mcmuffin" is, but its only on the dollar menu by my house. Also the McDouble is on the dollar menu at home, but $1.39 by my house, while the double cheeseburger is vice versa.

Also "Value fries" aren't "small fries" and "value sweet tea" costs $1 while "large unsweet tea" is $1.79.

OP learn to speak and make your intentions clear.
 
6 months ago mcdouble wasnt exist in my local mcdonalds. only double cheese burger and it is 1 dollar. now mcdouble exist and replace double cheese burger. the double cheese burger went up a few cents like 1.40 now. they looks the same to me. why have two version?

i still think mcdonalds ripoff. small coffee is around 1.17 and coffee in dollar menu is 1.00...... how is two small coffee end up 3.38?

1.17 plus 1.17 should be around 2.40
