All those Mercury 7 guys had impressive backgrounds. We couldn't get enough of that stuff when I was a kid.

well, it is an unrefutable fact that the companies that bring you all the medications that have helped life expectancy to go from 35 to 85 are evil...

Takes a LARGE set of balls to strap a rocket to your ass and get shot into space...especially the way they did it in the Mercury days...that stuff was pretty much untested.
