As I say RIP to storming Norman too, a selfless US general who did his duties, while keeping the Casualties of the coalition of the willing at an absolute minimum.

As Storming Norman to his ever lasting credit never sought political advancement, and was content to having done his duty. Sadly old soldiers do die like everyone else, but few old solders faded away as honorable as Norman Schwarzkopf. I too always respected him and like Kage69, I also extend my condolences to his family for their loss.

true and there are people that will be suffering from his actions for generations. and he was head thug for the america politico-corporate interests around the world, even to the point of leaving saddam in power while slaughtering millions of iraqi conscripts. the guy really had no conscience at all. condolences to his family, his victims and the families of his victims

He was given his orders and executed them to the best of his ability.

He DID NOT try to exceed those orders.

What you are complaining about is the decisions of politicians :colbert:
