I'm more sad to see the Pontiac brand die. They didn't make many good cars but the brand was an American icon.

BTW, could GM "relaunch" any of these brands in 10 years or whatever? It seems like this could be a good way to remarket niche brands.

I'll be surprised if GM is around to relaunch anything 10 years from now.
