Wow. I guess in your mind the only good Republican is a dead Republican. You really are the lowest form of life.

That clinic is a joke. I would not go there to get my teeth cleaned. It sprung up overnight and it looks like a shady operation.
In one of her final interviews, conducted just weeks before her death, she told The Sunday Times Magazine that those she wanted kept away from her funeral included Obama, who she branded "a tranny", Adele for being "fat", and Handler, who she dubbed "drunk" and a "w**re".
The league had said Monday that Rivers did not meet the criteria for the honor, triggering a controversy when several theater owners said they would turn off their marquee lights Tuesday anyway. An online petition was launched and several celebrities came out in favor of granting the honor.
The Broadway League told the New York Times that it concluded that Rivers did not meet the criteria for dimming the lights on theater marquees in the traditional industry honor for celebrities who have performed on Broadway.
Charlotte St. Martin of the Broadway League said the group dims lights for deceased people who have "very active recently" on the Great White Way.
The league changed course Tuesday afternoon, saying the lights would dim at 6:45 p.m. for one minute.
"Joan Rivers loved Broadway and we loved her," Charlotte St. Martin, the league's executive director, said in a statement. "Due to the outpouring of love and respect for Joan Rivers from our community and from her friends and fans worldwide, the marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed in her memory tonight."
Rivers, who died Thursday at 81, was known primarily as a TV actress and comedian, though she was seen as a champion of Broadway and off-Broadway shows and earned a Tony Award nomination.
Before the league's reversal, 10 theaters -- out of 40 -- were set to break with the league and dim their lights. Jordan Roth, owner of Jujamcyn Theaters, which runs five theaters in New York, tweeted Monday that his venues would pay tribute.
Glass has many questions about her former clients care and procedure at the facility, which is now under investigation.
What type of procedure did Joan have? Was Joan having a laryngeal endoscopic procedure done so that the physician can visualize the vocal cords to check for how they function or whether there is paralysis, vocal nodules, or vocal ulcers? Glass questioned.
If so, Joan wouldnt or shouldnt have been under any form of anesthesia because the doctor needs to communicate with the patient to see how the vocal chords contract.
She went on to say, So if Joan was undergoing this simple non invasive non life threatening procedure, what happened? Why was her airway cut off? Did someone do the procedure improperly? Was a technician doing the procedure or was it a licensed physician? I have to ask these questions because it seems odd to me that her airway would be closed off.
Also lets say her airway was closed off, why did a clinic of this kind or any kind not have life saving equipment to open her airway? If she had a heart attack, why was there no immediate cardiac life saving devices on the premises? Why was she deprived of oxygen for any length of time? Why wasnt she given oxygen immediately? This bothers me. Why were there not life saving emergency devices available and if they were why werent they implemented ASAP?
Rivers death is under investigation by the NYPD, and the New York Medical Examiner is also reviewing her death stating last week that the cause and manner of Rivers death will require further studies.
Glass also knows, I have no doubt that with the resources available to Melissa there will be a thorough investigation as to what actually happened and who may be possibly responsible.
The private New York City clinic where Joan Rivers stopped breathing while undergoing an outpatient procedure on her vocal cords released a statement Wednesday about the clinic's care following a report that alleged an unplanned biopsy was performed at the facility. "A biopsy of vocal cords has never been performed at Yorkville Endoscopy," the clinic said in a statement.
The clinic, citing confidentiality rules, made it clear that it was not providing specific information about Rivers or any other patient, but rather was describing its standard practices. "General anesthesia has never been administered at Yorkville Endoscopy," the clinic said. "The type of sedation used at Yorkville Endoscopy is monitored anesthesia care. Our anesthesiologists utilize light to moderate sedation."
The New York Daily News, citing an anonymous medical source familiar with the case, had reported Wednesday that a doctor who traveled with Rivers to the clinic allegedly performed a biopsy that caused the legendary comic's vocal cords to seize up. The doctor allegedly asked the clinic's staff if he could use the facility's instruments when a doctor there spotted "something" on the performer's vocal cords, the Daily News reported.
In response to NBC News' inquiries about Joan Rivers' medical procedure and Yorkville Endoscopy, the New York State Department of Health told NBC News they are "investigating the matter." Rivers stopped breathing during a vocal cords procedure on August 28 and went into "respiratory or cardiac arrest," according to the New York Fire Department. She was then rushed to Mount Sinai hospital, where she died last Thursday at 81.
So... huge lawsuit, Slew Foot?
Im not exactly sure what her consent says. If it was for endoscopy only, then performing a bx that leads to death is technically manslaughter, not malpractice. At any rate, id need more definitive info before i could make any conclusions.
I'm ~13 minutes into this (started it from the beginning). Joan was a funny Jewish celebrity with a New York accent, and evidently basically a really nice person. That's my impression of this documentary style show. I'm going to watch the rest of this...Watching Joan get high on medical marijuana (with fellow comedian Lynne Koplitz) is hysterical. She was truly one of a kind. lol

Edit: For a woman of 78, I must say she looked fabulous.
Yeah, during the show it was mentioned that she was 78, so I assume it happened 3 years ago. She had the sweet twinkle-eyed countenance of a teenager! For a woman reputed to have an unrestricted tongue, she seemed to have a real shy streak in there. She didn't just reach for funny, she was genuinely witty. That (episode of the) show is pretty endearing. She was 81. Or did you mean three years ago on the show?
