RIP Joan Rivers

My girlfriend is gonna be real shook up about this for the next couple days. She loved Fashion Police, and specifically because of Joan. She came up with some really good edgy jokes. And even joked about herself and her poor health until the end. RIP
 
Damn. RIP, but she really managed to piss off a lot of people.

And a reminder that "simple" surgery still carries risks.

Oh, and she had the best damn plastic surgeon(s).
 
Crazy. Just saw her on one of the late night shows - possibly the night before the surgery in question.
 
That's a damned shame. I would guess that they put her too far under and that caused her heart and breathing to stop. Should be one helluva law suit. But, my guess is just that, a guess.
 
They have to now cancel her planned "Before They Close the Lid" Tour. She was one hard working person and I admire her for her work ethic.
 
I saw her live a couple months ago... thought she was funny as hell, although the 2 drink minimum at the club probably helped.

I'll miss her.

She had some of the biggest balls in comedy. Mad respect for her. The world's a little less funny today.

Damn, that's three great comics we've lost this year. First Otto from Otto & George, then Robin Williams, now this. 🙁
 
Sucks

World so much less funny without her and Robin Williams.

Losing both in less than a month is awful especially when they should still be with us.
