I don't remember his finishing move. Jake the Snake had the DDT, Bret Hart had the Sharpshooter, Hulk Hogan had his leg drop... All I can really tell was that BBB was a brawler type.

his finisher was The Greeting From Asbury Park. Which is where he was from in New Jersey, my memory is slipping me tonight but I also remember a 2nd submission finisher.

Bigelow's main finisher in his WWF days was the top rope diving headbutt. He also used a moonsault that was pretty sick to watch.

I don't believe he used The Greetings from Asbury Park until his ECW days, though I could be wrong.

that moonsault was crazy! I don't think anyone else his size could do that.

Its sort of scary how many of the wrestlers are just found dead in homes/hotels, etc.

Taking steroids is making a Faustian deals, sooner or later you will have to pay up.

Ignorance is a bliss.

Bam Bam to Ted DiBiase, "You can't fire me, I quit!"

I remember him & Diesel forming a tag-team back in the mid 90s, back when Diesel was feuding with Shawn Michaels I think. The guy was alright and pretty quick for a big guy.

R.I.P

you think he died of steroids?? have you seen him? he was a fatass...

I'm sure he was roided up when he was doing the fake wrestling. That stuff never extends your life that's for sure.

Again. Have you seen him? He was always a fatass when he wrestled.

Bam Bam was a class act, read an interview with him in WWE magazine last year, he had opened up a diner and was the owner/cook.

R.I.P. I'll have to break out the SNES emulator and play some old WWF games in tribute.

You subscribe to WWE magazine? Wow ...

How does me saying "I read an interview" equal "I subscribe to" I work at a store that has a magazine section, when I was bored I would read magazines to pass time.

wow to your assumption.

Yeah really, Miss Elizabeth, Crash Holly, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, British Bulldog, Big Boss Man, Road Warrior Hawk, and Eddie Guerrero. Most died of "heart attacks," and that's not even all of them. Every few years, another wrestler seems to die under strange circumstances.

Many wrestlers have rec. drug and alcohol problems. Sad.

Most "superstars" write books about their expereinces. Problem is, the average joe like me would never buy or read the book. I can just imagine having to go into arenas every night and performing to 1,000,000's of people there and watching on TV.

If you don't have a personality or something sellable like being crazy or super strong, etc., you're not getting on TV or a long term contract. I can also imagine that drugs might make you cope with the pressure, so don't condem them if you don't really know what they went through (steroids, cocaine, etc.).

A lot of the heart attacks are a result of the combination of taking pain killers (downers), and taking uppers (cocaine etc) to counter the effects of the downers so that they can perform at 100% each time they get in the ring. Also, wrestlers generally carry more muscle/fat than the avg, which places more stress on the heart.

Who is condemning them?

No one was condemning anybody. But really, they do have choices. They don't have to stick with wrestling if they feel they need to turn to drugs just to "cope." That's no way to live.
