I remember him from WWE but my most favorite of his match was when he wrestled in ECW vs Taz and they both went through the ring.

RIP

I remember watching him and playing as him in the video games. Damn I'll miss his flame decorated tights.

if this is true, this is really sad. He was a great wrestler, very quick for his huge size. People can say all the bad sh!t they want to about wrestling, but wrestlers put their bodies thru hell just to entertain the fans.

Bam Bam was a class act, read an interview with him in WWE magazine last year, he had opened up a diner and was the owner/cook.

R.I.P. I'll have to break out the SNES emulator and play some old WWF games in tribute.

wow, I remember watching this guy when I was into wrestling. For the record, I would like to state I was 9 at the time.

Interesting to read that this is being treated as a crime scene.

I've echoed my sentiments on Bigelow a few times on other forums today. I'll just keep it short. I've never seen another man of that size move like that, it was mesmorizing. He was the real deal. He was an excellent wrestler and looked the part as well as he played the part.

RIP Scott.

RIP. I was at the match that the ring broke BTW. it was sweet.

also he is a Jersey guy and lived locally. I want to remind people that the man saved 3 childrens lives from a fire in a heroic rescue. He seemed like a great guy all around and its a shame he passed on so young.

I don't remember his finishing move. Jake the Snake had the DDT, Bret Hart had the Sharpshooter, Hulk Hogan had his leg drop... All I can really tell was that BBB was a brawler type.

his finisher was The Greeting From Asbury Park. Which is where he was from in New Jersey, my memory is slipping me tonight but I also remember a 2nd submission finisher.

Bigelow's main finisher in his WWF days was the top rope diving headbutt. He also used a moonsault that was pretty sick to watch.

I don't believe he used The Greetings from Asbury Park until his ECW days, though I could be wrong.

Its sort of scary how many of the wrestlers are just found dead in homes/hotels, etc.

Agreed. What these guys do to their bodies (both in the ring and from drugs, etc.) is just asking for trouble.

While its too early to tell what happened here (police are treating it as a criminal investigation), the things these guys put themselves through is very sad and many die young.

I'm sure he was roided up when he was doing the fake wrestling. That stuff never extends your life that's for sure.
