RIP Art Bell

I used to listen to Coast to Coast Am all the time. The show had an uncanny ability to keep you up all night. The Halloween shows were the best. I actually found the show while trying to see if I could listen to my telephone through the telephone line one night in the backyard with a shortwave radio back in 2002. As I tuned the dial I came across a radio show talking about aliens and UFOs. I went into the house and listened. From then on I was hooked. Now I listen to Coast To Coast AM through my Echo Dot since I installed the iHeartRadio App. No more fuzzy and scratchy audio from my small portable AM/FM radio.

I read at the Coast to Coast AM website that Art holds a world record for being on the air the longest. Some 114 hours worth I believe. Pretty damn impressive.
