Yup, let's destroy our own neighborhood to show how mad we are at the world. Let's destroy people's businesses and their livelihood. Makes total sense!!!!

I get that people are upset. They think there is discriminatory violence against black people. Real or not that's how they feel. What I don't understand though is why they think rioting is going to fix things. What possible positive result could there be?

Has there been a riot that resulted in positive change for those looting, burning, and hurting people?

Why can't these knuckleheads organize a peaceful protest of epic proportions in the state capital or at the courthouse?

It really seems to me that a million people at the capital picketing would be far more productive than this.

Kind of feel bad for the reporters sniffing the fumes from the two fires right now just so they have their shot. That, apparently, isn't tear gas they're huffing.

You're making the mistake of assuming than the people doing the actual looting and rioting actually give two sweaty f*cks about "justice" or this case.

Anymore than the thousands who openly looted in L.A. cared one iota about Rodney King. It's a chance to get free stuff, with virtually zero chance of repercussions, all the while assuaging your own conscience (if that even comes into play...) by telling yourself that two "wrongs" make a right.

Anderson Cooper on CNN just received confirmation from the police, apparently tear gas was used.

This is a great opportunity to start the AMERICAN SPRING!

Civil Rights ver. 2.0 - Blacks should have gotten their own country - carved out from this one since they get no justice, no sympathy, no empathy, and no support.

In order to come into their own, they must control the discourse and the system.

Where are the black 'leaders' to use this pivotal moment to kickstart the American Spring?

The so-called "Human Rights" organizations are such farces - tools of propaganda and meddling to lambaste foreign nations but are nowhere to be found when the most egregious human rights abuses occur in this country.

Since blacks can arm themselves, when they start asking for their own country and 'fight' for their freedom, would love to see the verminous self-proclaimed 'analysts' talk about their aspirations and rights to live and be free!

Great moment, epochal even, for black Americans to bring the Civil Rights movement into the next stage and create history!

Yeah that's great except that they don't want independence. They just want cops to stop killing unarmed people and to stop meddling in people's lives like a police state.

And those are the Michael Browns this moronic mob was defending.

Yes, I hate it when my life is "meddled in" after I'm stopped after robbing a local business, and shot after assaulting an officer and trying to grab his gun.

Perhaps it would be best if all of the police left st louis.

And the firefighters

And the paramedics

Let's stop the welfare checks to st louis, too

no more gov't interference in their lives.
