I was looking for a good MP3 CD Player. I found this NEW Rio Volt SP250 which is pretty nice for 105 dollars.

It sells at Amazon.com for 145 minus 30 dollar rebate minus a 10 dollar coupon. The coupon will automatically appear when you check out. These things go on ebay for around 90 bucks plus shipping. And those are the refurbished ones.

The Rio SP250 actually was made by iRiver, they just licensed it from them. Now of course iRiver is releasing their own stuff in America. I'd take the SlimX over the SP250 if that's what you are asking.

Nice Price. I went with the SP250 a few months ago, partially because it was coming with a coupon for a free car audio adapter (the cassette thing). That was for around $135 delivered from Amazon. BTW I still haven't received that car adapter yet! Has anyone received theirs that got this deal?

Truthfully, I've listened to it for about 10 minutes total so far so I can't say much about it. I'm seeing a pattern of jumping on deals for stuff I don't even use. I gotta stay away from here. In retrospect, I wish I had bought the slimmer SlimX, but the grass is always greener on the other side.

This is actually replacing one that was stolen. I have a full extra set of the batteries, charger and case.

Im happy to note that a small piece had broken on the original unit and was tricky to get working. I hope it fully broke off from the bastards that stole it!
