I just bought one used from a friend for $75. The latest firmware update (2.10) allows one to use Winamp (.m3u) playlists saved on the CD. It will also remember the last 10 CDs you played and pick up where it last left off. I really like mine... now I just have to encode every song I own. 🙂

bump for a great mp3 cd player. got one a few months ago and love it. make sure to get rechargeable nimh's because this sucker eats batteries like crazy!
 
funny..i use brand new 1800mAh nimhs that i charge in my maha charger, and they last 30min....wtf?!! it says up to ~10hrs...i guess with duracels (alkalines)..but still, if i got ~6hrs i'd be happy..but 30min? sometimes even less, like 15min..wtf? Anyone have ideas for me?
 
I get at least 10 hours with rechargeables (Maha too) on my SP-90. Maybe your 'new' batteries are defective?

J&R has had this price for quite awhile now (i posted this same deal when amazon had their buy 100$ and get free shipping on all electronics + get 20$ off instantly deal a couple weeks back). One word of advice... it seems as though diamond isn't giving out the car adapters... I sent 5.95$ check to them, they sent back saying the money I sent was wrong. I called support, they made up a bunch of bs about J&R not being a valid store for the rebate and crap like that... I bought a koss car kit for 20$ at amazon and it works great, but if ur counting on the car adapter be prepared for a little bit of work. I did NOT send the wrong amount of money and I have no idea why diamond would not honor this rebate but whatever. Anyways, great deal on a great cd player and don't order in a hurry cuz they've had these prices a long time now 🙂
