Rio Carbon 5GB: A new ipod mini competitor

I bought the Creative Muvo2 4Gb last week and was disappointed by it. So i returned it. Among the issues were the tiny 5-way button and small LCD screen. But I am not ready to spend 250 for an Ipod mini considering its so-so battery life and sound quality. Finally there is another alternative to the mini. It looks very nice and has a 20hr battery life. What do you guys think?

looks pretty sweet and seeing as the rio Karma is about 11ty billion times better then a normal Ipod i will say this will also be 11ty billion times better then the ipod mini

EDIT: seeing as your looking for one the new creative Zen touch has a 24 hour bat life but it costs more then 250$ i beleive
 
I honestly think its the ugliest thing I have ever seen. What did they do style it after a gigapet?

Another cool thing about this one is the illuminated buttons (like the ones in car). When pressed, the buttons are illuminated.

Yeah, very nice. The wheel placement is nice as well. That's what I like about my Karma. Easy one-handed operation. I'm glad they're carrying this over to their other players. 🙂
 
i wonder what it will cost

the Karma lists for 300 but can be had for around 250 and its 20 gig

if this is at 200-250 or less its gonna be super sweet

Like I said, there're 3 issues with ipod mini: battery life (rated 8hr, real world 5-6 hrs?), sound quality (I do care for that), and price. Until apple addressed at least 2 of the 3 issues, I don't think I'll pull the trigger on the mini.

that is super awsome

id be all over this if i didnt allready have a 30 gig Zen Ztra which im thinking of selling and getting the touch, 24 hour bat life and best signal/noise ratio of any player

Zen touch is new, right? I am wondering whether CC has it now. I'll definitely check it out before I buy anything.
