RIO 500 not working with Win 2k... help

I got in on the hp burner/rio 500 package deal. I upgraded the rio to the new firmware and downloaded the new rioport audio manager software. Windows 2000 finds the rio fine but the software says it can't find the rio 500. What gives? Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions?

Do not let it "Auto-detect" the 500 when you configure. You have to tell it that you are using the 500 (and not the 300).

Don't even bother with the RioPort software. Try RioFXP or one of the others.

Well, I use rioport 3.3 and it works fine
