Right side sound doesnt work!!!

Maybe, I've never used a tv-tuner card.

Ok, I thought the no output might happen. Look around the utility program for something that sounds like it might take a stereo signal and play it on all the speakers. I've seen it called
Stereo EXpander
5 channel stereo
4 channel stereo
Party mode

Something like that. It could also be a stupic acronym like 3d something or whatever... just look for a checkbox.

This would hopefully take the stereo signal and play it out all the jacks.

I don't know of one off the top of my head.

What happens when you play something in WinDVD now, do you get some output on the speakers?

Only out of the one speaker, just like when I play music.

So you switched it to the blue jack (or pink... whatever one you were supposed to put it in according to the program)?

You did check all your balances already, right?

if it is a problem w/ your onboard sound, an add-in soundcard should fix the problem.

i had a similar problem last fall. im not sure if is the same as what you have but ill describe it and if its similar to what you are experiencing i have a possible solution for you:

my right audio chanel didnt work. it was fuzzy/static like you described. plugging headphones into my speaker headphone jack caused the same thing. however when i plugged directly into my soundcard the sound was OK and when i switched speakers (left to right, and vise versa) on the sub-outs, the right channel was always the offender--aka i ruled out my speakers being the cause. since the direct out from my computer was ok, and the speakers individually worked, it was a problem with the sub. RMA'ed it asap and creative ended up sending me an entire new speaker setup in exchange for the faulty sub (even tho it didnt do much since the extra 2 speakers i have no cant be plugged into the sub as it is).

I'd say probably yes also.

A great budget card for 2.1 duty is Chaintech AV-710 when you put it in high quality mode with the latest drivers using the rear jack for stereo output which uses a very nice DAC for great sound quality.
