There's a reason I have a 1/4" thick plate steel bumper that weighs almost 1/2 a ton by itself. If you don't move, I will make you move.

 Nothing sexier than a man in a big solid truck. How YOU doin'?

haha, she likes redneck idiots that think they will actually do something like he said 😛

Your syntax is mangled, but I think you are suggesting that I would not use my truck to my advantage. If you are saying that, let me assure you that I use my truck like a truck, and a battering ram if someone REALLY annoys me. Examples:

1. Several winters ago I helped push a semi up an icy hill by getting behind him and pushing on his bumper with my truck. I have a 12,000 lb electric winch for smaller vehicles, and pull them out often.

2. Someone decided that red lights don't apply to them, and I drove over the hood of their car. There were rubber marks from my driver's side tire just short of the windshield.

3-6. I can't state because the statute of limitations hasn't expired yet.

When I say theres no speed limit, I'm half joking. Obviously theres a speed limit but its all relative. I've never gotten caught for "speeding" in the left lane because I never drive THAT much faster than the rest of traffic.
I got a $300 speeding ticket for going almost 90mph in the left lane. I would say yes there absolutely is a speed limit in the left lane.

I cannot agree with your center lane complaint. The center lane on a three lane highway is specifically for people driving the speed limit. The right is for passing and the left is form exiting and merging.

I think you have your left and right mixed up.

I like:
- Men who have the intelligence to properly put together a sentence with decent punctuation, spelling and grammar
- Men whose lives involve a fair amount of good honest work with their hands (either for a living or for the enriching of their personal lives), and who drive a vehicle commiserate with that work

I don't like:
- Guys who stereotype people on the internet based on limited data and using very poor English
- Guys who think their little shiny status symbol cars say something positive about their person and character that elevates them over others

But if I'm the 13th person they've had to go around wouldn't that mean they are basically driving in the left lane??? Maybe instead they should take the fact that they are constantly being forced to go around people on the right as a hint that they need to slow the fuck down and go with the flow? I mean, in most other cases in life you'd realize that when you're outnumbered 13 to one you're probably the one in the wrong and you're not going to win.

No, it doesn't. It means they are trying to pass people in the right/middle lanes but they can't because too many people are driving the speed limit in the left lane. I drive about 160 miles a day on I-95, between Richmond and DC. I can't count how many times I thought that traffic was really bad only to come up on some moron just cruising in the left lane. Once I get past him there's no traffic for miles. It usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes for all the cars in front of me to find a way around him. This happens at least once a day. That get's old quick.

Do you mean you're in the left lane for 15-20 minutes at a time but yet you actually claim that you aren't driving in the passing lane? 😕 *boggle*

Again. . .the blind hypocrisy of people who drive in the passing lane complaining about how people shouldn't drive in the passing lane just befuddles me.

Why do you keep repeating this? It's ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with driving in the left lane as long as you're constantly passing people in the right lanes. You get over once you pass people or you decide to go the same speed as those in the right lanes. If you're the only car in the left lane with a line of people behind you, you get over. If there's no cars in the right lanes, you get over. It's not rocket science. Have you never driven in traffic before? I'll make it simple.

3 lane road.

xxxxxYOU
xxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxx

That is bad and what everyone is talking about. You're holding up traffic and cruising in the left lane, not passing anyone.

xxxxYOUxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

That is fine, you're not the idiot driver that everyone's complaining about. You're just trying to get around the guy in the front holding up traffic.

The problem with driving in the leftmost lane is that you are never going fast enough because it seems regardless of the speed you're going there's CONSTANTLY some guy up on your bumper. You can be going 90 and there will still be some a-hole mad at you for "going slow" in the fast lane. The people driving in the left lane are rarely if ever going the speed limit or lower in my experience. They are almost always going faster than the posted limit to some degree. The problems arise when they are not going "fast enough" for the one guy who thinks the lane is his own personal freeway. So you tell us. . .just what is the left lane speed limit? You can be driving 75 in the left lane, passing every other car on the right and STILL have some Type - A speed freak BMW driving yahoo get mad at you and start making obscene gestures at you in your rear-view because he can't go 85. However if he were to maintain a respectful following distance and politely flash his headlights at me 2 or 3 times as a commonly understood signal that he wanted to go by me, I'd happily move out of the way at the earliest safe time to do so. But this almost NEVER is how it goes down.

There is no speed limit in the left lane. If you see someone coming up behind you speed up or move over. Is it that hard? If you can't do either then they are going faster than they should be.

Agreed.
