right choice?

have you listened to various models?
some people love klipsh, some hate them
horn tweeters are like that

you may do better with an internet direct company.

avs forums will provide many choices and direction

Take any forum recommendation with a grain of salt. Only you know what you like. I have different speakers for what I use the system for. KEF in 2-channel and HT, Martin Logan in my theater and NHT for my computer.

Audition is the best thing or if you have to go internet, make sure the return policy that has no restocking fees, etc. I use Cructhfield, Amazon, Audio Advisor or local.

I had Klipsch, great for Home Theater but music made my ears hurt and if you go that route, Best Buy is the worst place to audition or purchase from due to only selling the low-end, like most stuff there.

Thanks guys! This is my first purchase of such a speaker, so I'm now in doubt which one is better. It seems Polk is not bad either. ???

many manufacturers have good and bad speakers
depends on your budget

polk has an ebay outlet if you want to save some coin

i went with infinity primus, i dont regret it at all, and they were closeout.

I don't even own Klipsch. But I like their sound.

Currently I have 4 sets of Polk, 1 set of Infinity towers along with the matching center, and Hsu Research book shelf speakers for my stereo listening.

I decided to buy the floor standing speakers, but I don't understand why Klipsch are so expensive. Are they of a good quality and really worth their money, or maybe I should choose something else? Please, suggestions

Hardly. The majority of Klipsch speakers are in the budget category if looking at the speaker market as a whole. Even the reference premiere line would be considered to be a budget line by most.

As others have said, best for you to listen for yourself. I like mine (reference series II). I like them better for home theater than for music, but they're still pretty good for the music l listen to.
