Ridiculous Craigslist find of the day

Why is that so wrong? It may not be your cup of tea but millions and millions of people customize their cars like that and take them to shows and win awards.

The only award that car could conceivably win is for the ugliest, worst-fitting body kit or for the strangest racing stripe. Obviously aesthetics are a subjective thing, but I can't imagine one person in 100 wouldn't think that car is a hideous POS.

Yeah, he is entitled to do whatever he wants to his car but holly shit does it look crappy, I would never be caught driving such an abomination.

He didn't even say what year that thing is.

Actually, very very few people modify their cars to a great extent and of those who do only a minority are so brain dead as to do something like this to it.

He also doesn't say how many miles it has, or whether it is manual or automatic, or provide any pics that give you any real sense of what the interior looks like, other than that awful stereo and stupid flat-bottom steering wheel.

things like year and mileage won't matter to anyone who would actually want to buy that car.

have you looked at the pictures? The thing is not in show room shape...thing is NASTY!

i think.. he was trying to make it look like a snake.
to me it looks like a snake with an open mouth and fangs...ermm... sorta

Why would anyone put the kind of money that guy spent into that car? I'd bet his car is actually worth less than an unmodified one...assuming he can even sell it.

this is a nice car and i know its worth alot more than what i am asking

 Yeah right. Actually, it's worth a whole lot less than what you're asking.

modified custom neon must go!!!

Oooh, it's modified AND custom!:laugh::laugh:

Edit-I just did a bit of research and the 2 door Neon was only made until 1999. Assuming his is a 1999 model with average mileage and considering the rough shape that car is in it is worth about $1k max.

Well, when he says that it "grinds a bit going into 3rd", I assumed it was a manual. A manual that is on its last legs, but a manual. (Seriously, how do you screw up the 3rd gear synchro before the others? 2nd gear is almost always the first to start acting up.)

think how stupid you look to someone when you tell them you have an aftermarket CPU cooler, GPU cooler, heatsinks on ram, LED in case, ETC.

if i weren't into computers i'd call you pathetic and a loser.

now relate this to people tho like to modify cars

I wouldn't tell someone the specs on my computer unless they asked. It's not as though I have them listed in my sig...now that would be pathetic. 😉

The 2-3 upshift is a more intensive move, so you're more likely to start letting the clutch out before you're engaged. 1-2 is just a yank down.

...any guess which shift I miss most often at the track? Truck trannies were never made to be shifted quickly.
