You need a simple key,
No key that was made
By locksmith's hand,
But a key that only I

A man falls overboard and gets washed ashore an island with nothing but sand. The island is 50 miles from the nearest land. He can't swim, the water's 100 feet deep, and the island has nothing to make a floatation device with. With no help from people, animals, fish, or machines he finds a way off the island. How does he do it?

It has got to be something floating by or the like... The only other thing that floats in the ocean (that isn't animal, machine, human, etc) that I can think of is an iceberg. Is it an iceberg?

Hahahah for some reason I found this answer extremely high on the hilarity scale.

Not really sure why...maybe I just need some sleep or something....

People float...maybe he just lays in the water face up and chills for a few days until he washes up on a more desireable shore. lol.

I guess if the island was big enough, and he had a LOT of time on his hands, he could build a little sandbar bridge using beach sand... but that'd take forever...

Ok looked on google. It is a island in the middle of a lake way north, and he waits for the lake to freeze and walkd over it.

Anyways... I'm out as I have to do homework. Good thread you guys (My first to generate over 50 responses I think :D).

Later.

Google cheater :p
hehe

Here's one:

We are very little creatures; all of us have different features. One of us in glass is set; one of us you'll find in jet. Another you may see in tin, and a fourth is boxed within. If the fifth you should pursue, it can never fly from you. What are we?

Does it have something to do with words?

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!

It doesn't contain the letter "e"
