Jeremiah Lamentations Daniel Hosea

Click.

The answer might be something like "Yet God Strengthens".

okay, the acrostic leaves out Ezekial in the books, but that doesn't work (although Ezekial means "God strengthens")

*edit* okay, helps if you spell it right.

thanks for the help folks

So what was the original riddle and its answer?

you know, I don't recall what level it was....I've done about 15 or more since. I think it was a question using the acrostic to spell out books of the bible, and the one missing in sequence was Ezekiel. The meaning of Ezekiel in Hebrew is something about God strengthens., and God was the answer.

What was the solution to the one you posted earlier today with the music?

rather involved...the notes were DEEF EGA BBAB.

The clue talked about reflection and being holy, so if you reverse them, they spell babbage feed. Charles Babbage invented the computer so the answer was punchcard.

I actually picked up the Babbage Feed bit, but have no idea how the clues lead to punchcard being a solution.

Either these riddles are awful or there are more clues that we don't see? The "Froy" clue seems a red herring. The bit about something appearing holy (holey - full of holes) almost works...except there's too much cruft about seeing someting in a window. Maybe I just play too much of these games, but there's an art to writing clues balancing red herrings so that astute observers will at least not be completely flummoxed... and I don't think these writers have it...

Like the current clue...is the solver supposed to do some sort of construction on the bra-kets, or is the solver supposed to merely be lead in the direction Paul Dirac/sub-atomic particles/quantum mechanics?

Is there somewhere we can see the clues directly?
