Solid deal for a color laser network printer with network scanning. If Ricoh keeps this up Brother will have some competition.

And if you're using this for home, don't worry about the toner cost or the starter toners--they will easily print 50+ pages which for most home users will last at least a few months. I actually got about 1.5yrs out of my brother black and white starter toners.

This seems like a very nice printer, comparable to the Canon MF644 I got last week do replace my dying Dell E525W - I wish this had been on sale then... the downside is, of course, the expensive toner carts... but you can buy refill kits (with chips).

This Ricoh apparently has full duplex printing AND scanning.

This Ricoh apparently has full duplex printing AND scanning.

And the duplex scanning is single pass duplex, which effectively doubles the scanning rate when scanning duplex documents.

I didn't investigate this heavily as we already have more than enough network scanners, but it looks like it would work very well for a document conversion project since it should be able to scan directly to the network without computer.
