Thanks, these are the CDR's i prefer for making audio CDs with. Many more cd players are able to read them compared to the blue/green ones because the reflectivity in the platinums is so much higher.

Any idea one what kinda shipping charges this place has ? I have never ordered from them before...I usually get mine from buy.com...who has free shipping right now and pricematches... that might be a good way to go.

Cheers !

Well i got a box of these, and a computer kit (for 4.95, discount with a purchase), shipping was 10.00 for second day air.. ground shipping was 6.00, so i think it's a pretty good deal... the shipping is probably cheaper if you just get the cd-rs...

Shipping is $5.00 for 1 box of 25, $6 for 2...so 50 CD-Rs would be $19. i guess this would be a good deal depending on their quality. the pictured label says pythalocynanine. are ricoh CD-Rs supposed to be good? i might wanna get in on this one

it's made in USA.
the quality seems as good as Yamaha.
only no jewel case.
My favor brand - Yamaha, Ricoh Platinum, Sony. (all are green)

For those who don't know, compgeeks is an excellent retailer. They have for years enjoyed selling junk, and when you get junk that is worse than junk, they always make it right! Shipping is usually a bit much, but they have a bunch of stuff you can't find from other retailers.

Hey guys...compgeeks has a 50 pak (74min) for $9.50.

Click here to read about them.

Also, if you use a MasterCard to buy them, enter "MC Exclusives" in the red promo box to get another 10% off.

I buy most of my cd's from compgeeks. I bought 500 of these a few weeks ago, cost me a total of about $0.20 a cd since the more you buy the more you save on shipping. While it says gold, they are green bottoms (which I was a little disappointed at) but RICOH cds still are very high quality. Keep an eye on compgeeks, they usually have good deals on cd's, I got ricoh platnums a while ago, they were selling 100 for $18.. I wish I could get more of them, they were sweet!
