<--- Not a Ricky fanboi

GAAAHHH People. He violated the NFL drug policy again. This does NOT mean he tested positive for anything. This could mean that he missed a required UA. It could mean a lot of things. He's out of the country right now so it is doubtful that he's had a test at all. He might not even know he's in violation yet. More than likely he missed a test and that is what he's in violation of.

Until he deicdes to speak out on the issue we won't know as the NFL has a privacy policy on these matters. Either way, I wouldn't go jumping to conclusions as to what is going on.

its not like it is a performance enhancing drug

Because weed is illegal (whether you agree with that or not) and NFL tests for illegal drugs, as do many other companies.

Its all bologne anyways. You just have to pass the initial test after that you can shoot dope and smoke crack all you want. ITS A SHAM. The URINALYSIS industry is growing larger every year.

EDIT: It is only illegal in some parts of the country and world.

Rickys obviously got some mental issues. Maybe he needs pot to be happy and too stay sane. Id say its better to smoke weed than to have to take antideppresants or painkillers. I know people that cant survive without it but are functional potheads. In fact the best student i know has barely gone a day without smoking weed in the last 3 years.

I don't think there's anything I couldn't give up (short of survival, obviously) for a few years for the kind of cash he just blew.

Um last time i checked moron Texas, Florida, California, and Lousianna (all the places that Ricky has been or calls home while in the US) are all in the US and here its ILLEGAL unless you have a script.. and guess what.. HE DOESNT...

and while playing or working in ANY job in the USA it is grounds for termination...
so COMPLY OR GTFO....

You cannot assume that he didnt take a trip to canada to smoke.

I'm certain the majority of the artists and musicians of the world would be fired if that was the case.

ricky was a mackovic recruit. by the time mack brown got here, ricky was a star at UT on his way to breaking dorsett's record. he couldn't have done a thing.

Viper GTS

Hardly qualifies as conclusive, unless you mean addictive in a rather loose sense.

same rules apply when out of the country.. same as US Military... you are under contract when you signed that contract you agreed to not do those things..

it doesnt matter if the drug was consumed in country where it is legal.. you signed a contract saying you wouldnt do it..
or else...

technically, he didnt fail he just didnt take it. but ive read according to his agreement with the league, not taking the test is the same as failing it for him.

i dont think ricky is addicted to pot, its just his vice of choice. he cleaned up and played this season, so what he chooses to do in the off season is his business as far as im concerned.

he still has mental issues, tho.
