Ricky Williams is now a dolphin!!! Terry glen a packer!?

All they need now is a go to reciever and tight end. I dont think chris chambers is a solid 1 wideout yet.

If Antonio Freeman and Terry glen (assuming he stops smoking crack) team up with brett favre then they can challenge the Lambs for the NFC championship.

Ya, but the Jet's have Sam Cowart 😀

With a healthy Santana Moss, and either a beefy interior linemen or a shut 'em down corner in the first round of this years draft, NY is looking good in the AFC East next year.

what we've been waiting decades for...I can hear the stands at Pro Player screaming RICKY RICKY RICKY!

This is big news for us in South Florida... 🙂

Williams instantly upgrades the Dolphins. First, I don't think he is the best RB in the league, but I do think he is a big, bruising runner who can keep the chains moving with a good yard/carry average. This is exactly what the Dolphins needed to go with their suffocating defense, they are now a lot like the Ravens team that won the superbowl. Solid but unspectacular QB and receivers, improved Oline and good quality RB, defense that thrives on shutting the other team down when it counts. I don't know if the Fins will go to the big dance, but in my mind they are certainly a solid playoff contender with a chance. The Fins always get beat in the playoffs because their defense, which carried them through the season, was worn out at playoff time, and now they are a more balanced team.

good post on Ricky and the Phins...I'm stoked on this move....I havent seen the Dolphins do something so bold in a long long time....

we've been waiting for this kind of back for a while now....it's a perfect fit for style of play that Norv Turner and Wannested like

getting beat in the playoffs year after year is getting old...:|

its definately an upgrade...a BIG one 🙂

good luck gettin glenn to do anything.
he sucks, hes always hurt.
packers must really need WRs to go after him.
ricky williams at dolphins is interesting.

Dolphins still don't have an offensive line(Kreutz snubbed them), and losing Brian Walker and Brock Marion is going to hurt their secondary.

They're a bit improved on offense, but got worse on D. Looks like OJ McDuffie and Daryl Gardener may be done for good, as well.

If Glenn can keep his head he improves them immensely. The Dolphins got a steal. Ricky Williams is flat out a stud.

Saints should have held out for a better trade :| I hope Ricky does well for himself and so that the Saints get another 1st rounder.

The Saints will go 0-16 next season. It couldn't happen to a better bunch of losers. I can't believe Louisiana is gonna pay for those assclowns to stay in the Superdome...

Ditka's fault... remember the draft day trade FOR Ricky Williams? He completely killed the Saints' future by trading all those picks.

True. Ditka started it. Haslett will finish it...

Sounds like the Pack stole Glenn from NE. 🙂 And yes, they do need the help. Freeman has been a bust since he signed his big contract a few years back. He's only getting older, so he's already missed the train. If Glenn can turn things around and become the #1 receiver, the Packers will gladly cut Freeman in a year.

If Ahman Green learns to hold onto the football, the Packers should be a strong contender again.

The Pack stole Glenn? Umm, they won a superbowl with ZERO help from him. I would be surprised if he ever plays in more than 10 games in a single season.

Chris Chambers is a great young WR.

OJ McDuffie didn't contribute anything last year, so no loss there. Ricky is a great pickup for them.

Where is Chris Carter going to end up?

Yeah, the Packers stole Glenn. He's an All-Pro wide-out. Whether he plays up to his potential is another issue, but the price paid was a pittance. I feel Glenn has a better chance of playing up to his contract than Freeman does.

ESPN seems to believe Glenn can turn it around; he just needs a fresh start.

Note I didn't say NE cares that they lose him; just that they got little back in exchange. They probably view it more as salary cap relief than a trade.

this deserves an avatar change

if Glenn has a monster season you better believe that conditional 2003 pick to the Pats will be a high one....no lose situation for NE!
