Rick Perry: how will his campaign play out after this with BofA?

Are we supposed to find this meaningful?

Do we hate BofA for supporting Perry?
Do we hate Perry for BofA supporting him?

Trying to find the meaning and I've got the feeling the OP is missing something to talk about.

I guess in the end this is just more affirmation that Rick Perry is a status quo republican candidate. People here have probably already come to that conclusion so it's just pointing out the obvious.

Ron Paul!

He aint no different than any other President when it comes to bailing out banks even though it's totally against Tea Party principles (i think). In other words, he's catering to Tea Party and just gonna toss em aside if he gets elected.

Because Bank of America doesn't help out the Obama campaign?
Obama collected more from Wall Street than McCain in 2008.

Only an idiot assumes that a bank doesn't contribute to all candidates involved.
A bank would be stupid not to.

Tea party was spawned from their strong dislike of the bank bailouts... I think.

Something like this though will greatly hurt any tea party support he has I would think.

We condemn a man for his supporters? Doners are going to come from ALL the usual suspects towards the top candidates. That's simply called having a campaign.

I will not condemn the man for running a campaign. I think you're jumping to conclusions over that even though there are some very serious problems with him elsewhere. Look to his record in Texas, that should frighten any conservative.

It also could be a plant... right in front of a TV camera? Who knows what this means, if it means anything...

Everyone loves Obama, and Obama gave BofA $20billion in 2009.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Perry has no chance of being elected President, before or after this comment.

Aww shit. I knew it. Why not post a poll while you're at it?

They aren't getting away with it right now? What? I didn't realize the Obama Justice Dept was actively pursuing this matter. :hmm:

Taxpayer owned AIG is suing BofA for $10B over losses from Countrywide's (now owned by BofA) mortgage securities fraud. BofA wants a guy like Perry in the White House to stop the lawsuits and have the taxpayers, instead of BofA shareholders, eat those losses.

Maybe all polls should have "I hate America" and "Ron Paul!" as the two options, regardless of the topic.

Perry will also need to address the growth of Texan debt as well. The play will probably be to just constantly point to job growth, but the sustainability will be called into question whenever debt fueled spending is the source of jobs nowadays.

BofA wants Perry to let it get away with defrauding the taxpayers to the tune of billions (through AIG).

Never mind, I see you already explained it.

Otherwise, I don't see how your concern could be valid.

Naturally business, banks, etc love Perry. That is just one way Perry grew jobs in Texas, by putting business 1st. And I meant that in a sleazy way. And that fellow caught on camera from BofA whispering "BofA will help Perry out"...? Check him out. Google. He's a mighty shady fellow. Perry makes Richard Nixon look like Dr Seuss.
If you want government corruption on a level never before seen in America, pray in the Perry. And always ask... What would Jesus do? Would BofA have whispered those words into the ear of Jesus?
With Nixon's Watergate the line was "follow the money". And Perry? Follow the money donators...
