Richard Clarke...oops, got the facts wrong...

Well this guy has been blowing his own horn for some time. He had several things he said in his book contradicted by the time he got done with congress.
 
I guess Bush had nothing to do with Saddam's capture since he didn't actually go down into the foxhole.
But hey, if I had to wake up and see the polls that you cons are seeing, maybe I would be grasping for straws too.

Edit: As Genx stated in his own way, Clarke isn't the type to write a book and hide in a closet, as hes been interviewed from Dateline to the Daily Show. I figure if you want to see where this leads, you can at least wait for him to have some sort of comment on this.

Besides, in Clarke's book, he says it's all from his perspective. And, from his perspective, warnings were issued. Read them for yourself:

This strikes me as a fairly minor, tangential issue in regard to most of the relevant things Clarke has to say. Moreover, "Accuracy In Media" clearly seems to have its own agenda, considering the rather flagrantly biased prose in this and their other "news items," not to mention their own mission statement, which makes it clear they are operating under a conservative agenda to debunk the "liberal media."

No kidding. If he wasn't available for a single phone call, he must be burned at the stake! Let's be sure to keep this discussion active so we don't have to pay attention to the slashing of veterans' benefits, American military suicide rates, prisoner abuse, capital flight, intellectual flight, tech flight, and the disappearing middle class.
 
The other aspect I find vaguely comical about this story is that "Accuracy in Media," who would ordinarily paint CNN as imcompetent and liberally-biased, are suddenly treating Wolf Blitzer like the reincarnation of Edward R. Murrow.

Only two surgeries today: removing his foot from his mouth and removing his head from Bush's butt. Both failed.
 
Like clarke said about bush the co, but i think may apply to him more "they have creative memories".
 
If you have watched the news coverage, Richard Clark got
a pretty easy time from normally more agressive interviewers
such as Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, and the 60 Minutes crew.

If Wolf Blitzer was really pushing hard, it would be quite a surprise,
as he is not normally very agressive interviewer. Not nearly as
soft as Larry King, but he's no Ted Koppel or Bill O'Reilly.

And what happened to all the claims that Clarke lied, committed perjury, contradicted himself, etc.?

NOTHING.

Not one of those claims was ever proven and no apologies issued by the R.A.M.
