This may be old, but i did do a search. Anyway, I dont know why Richard Clark was ignored so long ago when he said that Dumbya said he had Iraq on his mind from day one in office (this does give creedance to DSM). Four successive US presidents have picked Richard Clarke to defend the country against terrorists. Yet, he was swept under the rug when he comes out against Dumbya? I would like to hear both the left and right interpretation.

He was not a Team Player. Kept letting facts get in the way of the Official Talking Points.

All I know is that I saw Bill O'Reilly trying to discredit Clarke as soon as he appeared before the senate; before even the senators had read his book. Clarke was the only government official who actually apologized the American people for not keeping us safe. O'Reilly countered with the "..but did he apologize to the families of those killed on 9/11? I don't think he was really sincere." blah, blah, blah.

Have any conservatives even read his book and have anything to criticize here?

The biggest factor is probably that people don't care. I doubt most Americans know who he is or what he said.

He was ignored because he is irrelevant.

Just another Clinton-era idiot trying to make a few bucks writing a book.

Starting in 1985, Clarke served in the Reagan Administration as Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence. During the presidential administration of George H.W. Bush, he coordinated diplomatic efforts to support the 1990-1991 Gulf War and the subsequent security arrangements. He also advised Madeleine Albright during the Rwanda crisis. His positions inside the government have included:
United States National Security Council, 1992-2003

He was treated as irrelevant because he is an impediment to the globalist.

Well, I tried to be nice and hint about what you were doing wrong, but obviously that was the wrong thing to do. Now I will try your method.

TRY SPELLING HIS NAME THE CORRECT WAY WHEN YOU DO THE SEARCH, DUMBASS...:|

Richard Clarke with a fvcking e, as per the very simple directions that I gave you earlier in this thread. Have a nice fvcking day.:p

Right, so is Paul O'Neill I bet. And Karen Kwiakowski (spelling is off I'm sure). And Joseph Wilson. That's just to name a few off the top of my head.

Clarke has been made into an icon by the left because he defied his former boss at the 9-11 commish hearings. But reading the 9-11 commish report it paints a picture of an incompetent fool.

That is why is is\was ignored. The guy simply couldnt perform his job while under Clinton or Bush.

Clarke tried to get meetings with the Bush Administration for months and months before 9/11 but they IGNORED him over and over.

That is because the guy legitimately should apologize to the United States of America for the pathetic work he did while under Clinton and Bush. In all reality if he had any decency left he would refund the paychecks he took from the tax payers of America.

Months and months eh? How many months was it between the inaguration and 9-11? What was his role in the administration?

None of that however counters his level of incompetence while under Clinton when dealing with OBL.
