Apparently CERA (3rd or 4th generation EPO) was considered possibly 'undetectable' so a few guys thought they'd give it a whirl!

Bzzzzzzt!!! Caught!!

Just sickens me.

I liked the idea of the first response to the article............Ban any whole team for 2 years!!! THAT'LL get 'em thinking twice about doing it again!!

What bugs me a little is that David Millar is acting like some moral champion when he got caught doping a few years ago as well. He has paid his dues but he should STFU in my opinion. :)

I say let'em. It's like having stock and unlimited classes in auto racing. Let's see what the human body is really capable of with a little help.

cycling has become such a joke, everyone dopes and its just a matter of who gets caught and who doesn't

I don't truly believe this to be true, but even using the 50% rule, the penalties are getting greater and the testing is getting more and more aggressive!!!! (You test with ANY anomolies in your results and you're under the magnifying glass 'til they catch you!!!)

I'm not a big fan of team penalties, sure it would make teams take doping seriously but thats beginning to happen by itself (look at Columbia, Garmin-Chipoltle and CSC) and team penalties can create so real disasters, Astana last year when Vino doped and Kloden (who was 4th at the time) was pulled with the entire Astana team and this year when number 1 and 3 of last years tour and arguably the best team in the world were not allowed to compete because 1 member who is no longer on the team doped.

Also for all of you nay-sayers saying the Tour is all dopers, yeah cycling has been going through a very rough patch but their really cracking down now and its much more of a few bad apples then a vast majority like it was before.
