mmmmmmmm......sooooo good. grilled ribeye steak for me family tonight (just got done eating it) on the charcoal grill....omgsogood. perfectly medium. I think the key was letting it come completely up to room temperature before cooking it. 6 and 4 minutes to a side, 1" thick steaks.

what'd ya'll have for dinner?

mmm....ribeye.

tonight - honey made green pepper steak with mushroom rice ala Rachael Ray's 30 minutes meals.

mmmmm

There's no such thing as perfect medium, only far too overcooked medium.

Mmmmmm, perfect rare.

BTW, great choice on ribeye and BBQ. 🙂

Medium-rare is the best IMO 🙂

I had Tapanyaki Chicken & Rice from Japanese Express and some fruits afterwards 🙂

agreed, but most places i eat tend to be slightly more towards rare, which is fine by me 🙂

Tonight i actually went to outback to use a gift certificate a friend had given me. It was meh, i had the outback special (which is top sirloin? or ribeye? doesn't really matter tome..) and it was just meh. Pretty decent for steak, but nowhere near the best i've had.

World Buffet in West Covina CA. $12 a head. They had all you can eat Korean BBQ , crab legs, duck and the other typical asian buffet food. The food was good compared to other cheapy buffets.

Lemongrass chicken satay....pad thai...spicy bok choy stir fry. My other end (as if the end I was posting from were that far off) will probably regret it tommorrow.

to be honest, it was more of a medium rare, because all the middle was pinkish-red, but not rare because it wasn't red enough imo.

medium is when the inner middle third is pink, med well is when only a sliver is pink, and well done is not a steak at all.
