Ribbon 13... is this dude a bot or something?

Ok so his friend has a camera..then doesnt...then all the sudden ribbon has a webcam...wont take pics..then is posting pics of himself...but wont take any inside his computer or speakers. Now he's building some huge computer for a "friend" and saying he'll post it...like i care. Not to mention once he used a "NDA" excuse why he couldnt take pics..thats why i asked for pics of his speakers..cause those aren't under NDA...but he just kept coming up with lame excuses and posting fake pictures that had nothing to do with anything.

Then saying he has 17 PC&C power supplies.

Honestly...if you really want to talk about a pathological lying attention whore...look no further. He sits and post all day on AT. Something to make you go hmmm...

Who cares if he's a liar about himself, does that matter when the guy gives good advice for people in need of assistance or opinions?

The dude is a great user, he really tries to help unlike some people on ANandtech forums, although I don't always agree with his posts.

I'm not saying he doesn't give some ok advise every once in awhile. But I think if you're giving advise to people about large $$ purchases...credability does go a long way. I just don't like liars. He obviously has a camera and he's full of it. If he's not..I'll give him an apology.

I'm not surprised though that he hasn't answered this.

I do admit that he should post the pics though, if not just so I can gaze in awe.. :D

I agree. I recently bought an awesome vintage amp soley with ribbon13's help, and he's been extremely helpful with helping me match parts and upgrades to it and giving me information on how to do different procedures like mod the connectors and clean the pots. He knows what he's talking about and knows the market, where to find good deals, and what to look for. He's a nice guy and very generous with his knowledge and time.
