RIAA Thread

Wow...they really pissed me off in there😛

I don't  so I can't wait till soccer tomorow morning...it will cool me off😛

If the RIAA makes money off of music sales then the RIAA wants to stop music thieves.
If the RIAA stops music thieves then it makes more money.

The RIAA doesn not stop music thieves therefore the RIAA does not make more money.

Ah, now it all makes sense.

morality aside, when would these RIAA numbnuts realize they arent gaining any more support or money by suing random people?

...and when will the other numbnuts realize that they aren't garnering any support by stealing and resorting to justifying it under the blanket of morality😛

Rosa Parks was tired that day. She broke the law because she thought the law was wrong, and fought it.

These freedom fighters these days are all weak morons that think that victory will simply be thrust upon them.

i am not vindicating the cause of illegal music downloads, in fact i made a $80 purchase on CDs just a few days ago 🙂
many of these p2p talks dont even pertain me since i get to hear songs to the point i can sing along with my eyes closed before i actually pull the trigger on those CDs.
still, i find these 'efforts' by RIAA very counter-productive, it doesnt bode well for them if they are establishing or strengthening their image as giant evil group of penny pinchers.

on a side note, apparantely they recently had this panel discussion on p2p actitivities at our school. what was supposed to be an equal representation of both sides turned out to be a sermon given by this RIAA spokesperson. obviously this left a bad taste in the students' mouth; right or wrong the speaker was, no one likes to be preached.

There's a short article in the May 2005 edition of Popular Science (just got it in todays mail) about the RIAA's push for making digital-audio recording devices illegal.

They mention similarites to the "broadcast flag" for digital TV, but doesn't go into too much detail.
