You can try to deny it, and call me names all you want, but it boils down to money.

No, you're not saying that, or no, they aren't stealing it?

No im not saying that.

As to your first statement you need money to make movies Unless you support this?

eh? comrade? Would you like state funded film?

But you are giving your opinion personally that the only thing I care about is money and thats just false and based on your limited opinion.

God damn pirates strike again! Forcing movie makers to use product placement to pay for movies, that's something they've never had to do since day 1!

Kind of strange though how this looks like an indie film... Last i heard decent indie films are dead and almost every studio that made indie films in the united states went out of business thanks to greedy file sharers.

No. Not true. They are looking at how much money they can make back over the life of the film. Ever notice how you see a decade old blockbuster on sunday afternoon tv? Yeah that film is nearing the end of its usable life cycle and they are still collecting money off of it. That is the movie business.

Yes they make money that way, but that's not what they shoot for. They want a big box office early for almost all movies they make. I'm just telling you what I have been told by the guy who heads up our movie group, which screens most movies that come from Hollywood.

Actually the box office has become a loss leader for dvd and blu ray sales for most films.

true, but a lot of that is due to hollywood accounting practices. tbh though i see the indie/small film scene coming back in the next couple years.

Lets hope.

I personally like working on more action oriented features and that lends itself to bigger budgets (and bigger sound) but I still enjoy a good indie and I also love working on good indies.
