RH7.2 booting wierd

My redhat 7.2 is booting oddly. It's supposed to boot into the the graphical mode, and the host name used to be "localhost.localdomain". Recently it decided to change somehow, but I notice nothing different in the boot sequence itself. Now it's booting into text mode, with the hostname set to "c66". I've no clue why this is happening. I checked the sttings in linuxconf and they still are set at graphical boot / localhost.localdomain. Any ideas?

hmmm, I don't remember doing any such thing. I haven't installed any programs other than xine. The only other progs I use really are kdevelop and some junk that came with gnome/kde.
