RH 7 images...

Anyone has a fast ftp site with all red hat 7 isos? their main ftp site goes up and down and it's painful to d/l anything from them?

It's probably not the answer you want, but don't they have a bunch of mirrors for the software? I usually get mine from the .edu sites which seem to be darn fast.

Well, since RH7 is brand spanking new (release today, right?), it'll be slow wherever you go. Wait a week and thing should be much better.

They aren't supposed to put it up on FTP until tomorrow (Tuesday the 26th) anyway.

well i got the first cd from redhat.com at ~300K/s, but the site crashed when i was getting the second one...and after close inspection it looks like the first one has crc errors, so i have zip anyway we have a redhat mirror in the lab, so i'll get it when it gets mirrored

ibiblio.org (former sunsite.unc.edu) has tow i386 binary ISOs.

the problem is that their FTP is full (and that IS unusual).

ok got them locally at the lab. smoking over 1Meg/sec, should have it burnt by 10am
