Was at the Giants/Skins game yesterday.
I was completely and totally impressed by Sir Robert the Third.
Here's the big difference IMO between Griffen and Vick, Newton, etc.
He makes smart decisions.
You don't often see him get hit after a 7 yard gain, because he doesn't take off and run unless he sees a wide open area. Then he takes off for 20-30 yards.
He has great vision and is good pocket passer as well.

As a Giants fan, he's gonna give us trouble for a long time.
Skins fans should be real happy with what they got.

He's a beast. And it was Santana Moss's fault they lost that game, RGIII put them in great position to win that game.

I'm pretty sure RG3 would have had the vision to post in the NFL thread for the week.

Just sayin'

He's playing like a prodigy. Stepping into the nfl as a rookie with a qb rating >100 after 7 games. And he's pretty amazing to watch. Looks like Indy blew chunks on this one.

I don't know what's harder, to be a top-tier nfl qb as a rookie, or be a GM and predict who's going to be a top tier qb in the nfl as a rookie.

Not so fast. Luck is experiencing more growing pains, but he will be a heck of a QB.

lol such a cop out. was not his fault at all. it was his fault they were in the game to begin with.

this game is 100% on the defense.

He's a rookie, and as of week 6, he already broke the NFL record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a season. Not to mention 138 yards rushing (4th place in history for a QB.) He's freaking fast, and is learning to run in situations where he doesn't put himself in harm's way. Did I mention he's freaking fast? Prior to yesterday, he had the highest completion percentage in the NFL. He's the 1st quarterback in many decades to have led the offense to scores in each of the four quarters. He had over 300 yards passing during his debut game.

Currently, he has the highest completion rate in the NFL. He has the highest yards per attempt in the NFL. He has the 3rd highest quarterback rating this season at this point. And, if you watch him in the pocket, he looks like a seasoned veteran.

That's part of why fans are excited. After blunder after blunder in getting quarterbacks, it appears there's finally a franchise quarterback who can lead the team into the playoffs (and beyond, hopefully.)

You've got to be kidding me, have you seen Luck play? RG3 is surrounded by an abundance of talent compared to Luck and Luck has still looked like the more elite QB. He is incredible to watch.

The Colts are 3-3 and the Skins are 3-4. Luck has taken the worst team in the league and beaten one of the best in a shootout (Greenbay when Aaron Rodgers was on fire) and RG3 has done what? Couldn't even beat the Giants which even Rex Grossman and company did last year.

Don't ask me stupid questions [that I haven't already answered a few posts up. 😛]

That said, RG3's effectiveness is much more than just a product of his environment. If you think that's it, then you haven't seen him play.

You're right, that was a stupid question becuase you clearly haven't seen Luck play a single down. He shows all the greatness of QB's of the past and is clearly the next elite talent in this league. RG3 still has question marks, Luck doesn't.

I can guarantee that 32 out of 32 GM's would have picked Luck #1 overall.

It was stupid question because he admitted to never having seen Luck play. 🙂

One thing I will say about RG3 vs Luck. Let's see how good he is next year. He may be great, but it's possible defenses will adjust after watching him play for a year. Luck OTOH is just a real good QB. There is no adjustment for that. Just a possibility. RG3 though is terrific right now.

not sure if serious ... who is this "talent" that is surrounding him? how many pro-bowl players do the redskins have on offense?

rg3 is just good and makes everyone around him better.
