Seriously, before you spout out nonsense to defend yourself, really think about your original question.

You are asking if putting a sequence of three random letters contained within a domain name would be illegal. Think about it. Really.

If it's in reference to an RFC specification or whatever, you could probably get away with it. But if you intend to touch toes with GM - have fun with that.
