Nah the majors son needs to help them out / help the resistance plus he at least was worth keeping around unlike her whiny brother otherwise they would have to stop every few minutes because of his asthma.

Its just that the focus of the show was to get the brother, and now they threw that out the window. The major's son is less important because they still have the uncle.

True as they need to do stuff about power now but I had enough of the people you want killed off in the walking dead so best to start early I guess.

I guess its better than something like 24 where the brother would get kidnapped every couple of episodes.

I was excited about this because of the premise but it doesn't sound like they dig on WHY it happened in the first place? 15 years later and they still didn't know...

It's depressing since I'm trying to find a new end-of-the-world series to follow. I'm currently doing Falling Skies, but only because The Event was cancelled (I actually caught it on Netflix recently). People said The Event was hard to follow with too many characters. Well Netflix enabling me to watch back to back to whenever episodes made that a non-issue. It was a great series and I was honestly depressed after finishing the S1 finale.

And because of Netflix, it's really difficult for me to watch any current series anymore... waiting a week SUCKS.

Jericho isnt bad. Neither is the first season of Jeremiah, and the first episode of the second season.

They hinted in the first season and the previews show a bit more about how is coming up.

The Event rocked!

In case anyone missed it but the show was back today.

I can honestly say I am glad the son was killed off.

I can't believe they did that so soon. The entire first half of the season pre "Fall break" was about getting him back.

Oh well, I found it very enjoyable. Will continue to watch.

I don't get why they had to put the locket thing on the rocket launcher for it to work. wondering if the helo's amplifier would have made it work? they obviously don't have to be touching to make it work with just the locket thing anyway, just be close enough.

I doubt they thought that far ahead, but attaching it would mean that someone else could use the launcher if someone dropped it. Wear the necklace and if the wearer is more than a few feet away, no one can use the launcher anymore. This worked out perfectly considering someone dropped it and someone took the launcher a good 10-20' away.

looks like the people who complained about no steam or other things can finally shut the fuck up next week. seems like monroe republic oppresses their people whereas the other areas are much more free.

Just started watching this a few weeks back and caught up with the latest episodes earlier this week. This show had SO MANY flaws...

1. As someone mentioned few posts back, why would need the USB drives ON the rocket launcher? the choppers had the amplifier which was helping the other copper fly, that should have done the trick.

2. The pendants can power the electrical devices, it does not have kinetic power so how did the generator start in the lighthouse?

3. After 15 years how come all these machines are still working? wouldn't IC engines all corrode and have unrepairable clogs?

4. If the Airborne Bactria absorbed all electricity and they are so tiny that we breathe them then how come our brain still functions?

5. After 15 years you would think humans would have developed a whole new civilization based on steam powered machines and wind mills, however we still live in medieval age, are humans really that stupid?

6. How come they travel so fast on foot? They were somewhere in Pennsylvania and they reach St. Luis to the rebel headquarters on foot before the chopper could? really? This is just one instance, there are several more...

A very very technically flawed TV show IMHO...
