Revoltec 4 pin cable (p4 perhaps) isn't long enough

I have a Sharkoon *Btx* form factor case.. Well, It's more of a aproach 😛 Anyway, I have also a 450w Revoltec Chromus, and a Asus A8n Sli Deluxe.. The problem is that the power plug.. the one that is near the Cpu socket, just does not plug because it's 2 centimeters short.. Causing me to have a full system that just does not start because of a cable 😛 So, I just want to know if the hardware experts (well, I've always thought that here at anadtech there are probably the best experts in computers and related aspects) can help me in this matter.. i see a lot of 20 > 24 pins.. 24 > 20 pins extensions.. but a 4 pin to 4 pin extension I've never seen.. And I'm going insane because of this little matter.. Apreciated for the help.. [[]]'s Cheers

Ex: The extension I need is for this 4 pin

I don't know if this is up your alley, but an option could be to get a standard molex type extender cable and then cut your 4 pin line and solder in extensions from the molex extender wires.

I didn't search for 4-pin adapters because it sounds like you did a pretty good search already.

Well.. Thanks for the quick reply.. Both YoyoYOhowsDAjello and thunderrroller. The problem is.. The Power Suply was bought 2 weeks ago.. And I do not want to see the warranty go down the drain.. Aditionally, I intend to overclock the Processor.. So I think the power cord will be needed.. Well.. I'll keep looking.. Thanks again for the quick reply's 😉 [[]]
