I had to shave with my girlfriend's leg razor the other day. It was called a "Venus" I don't remember what brand it was though. But I'll tell you this much... It was the best damn razor I've ever used. Too bad it's pink.

That is the ladies version of Mach3, its from gillette as well.

Thanks for the review though isekii, I was staring at that thing in the mall last night. I might pick it up this week instead of new mach3 blades.

It's just a different verison of the mach3??? I usually use the mach3, and I swear that thing was 10x smoother than it. Mabye it had something to do with the girly shaving gel.

How well does it shave in the "I'm late for work and don't have time for shaving gel and to massage my face for 2-3 mins" case

How long before it goes dull?

I just bought a Costco sized pack of Mach3s and I could swear they go dull more easily than before. Either that or my hairs are starting to thicken.

how much did it cost you ?

I have a Mach 3 Razor sitting in my medicine cabinet without any blades :)

I think it was about 20 bucks for two 12 packs. I went trhough 4 blades so far. I have an unopened 12 pack and two unused 4 razor clusters.

Maybe it's because your leg hair is different - you're used to shaving your face ;)

What about directly under the nose? And the soft curves under the jawline?
Some big razors don't completely cover the mustache area and under the jaw is usually the place where I get cut or razor burned.

Try shaving your knees some time....it's almost impossible not to nick yourself at least once.

Or....er...so I've heard.

:p

Did you see the SNL skit with the Mach5 ?

nope.

roflmao yeah i saw that....it shows a cut away, cutting the hair, then cutting the skin....LOL

man, that review is from one hardcore shaver...

i just shave straight up using no shaving cream or soap....don't have time to dab them on..then i'd use rubbing alcohol to clean my face.....to prevent breaking out...

using the mach3..and i'm pretty content w/ the mach3

Rubbing alcohol you say ?
does it work ? doesn't that dry out your face ?

SNL stole that from MadTv.

I've never nicked my knee with the Mach3.

And yes, I'm serious.

Hehe...actually so am I. I've been shaving my legs for as long as I've been racing bikes. Cleaning up road rash on hairy legs is a painful process.

That's right, I forgot you race bikes. I do it for the look, especially since I'm about 185 with 7%bf. My wife loves it. Who am I to argue with the wife?

I'm really amazed by how many people like the Quattro. Personally I think it sucks compared to the Mach 3.
That extra blade cut me up.

I recall the first time I showed up with shaved legs my wife (then girlfriend) completely freaked out. Then she got used to it and liked how it makes your legs look more defined (being a cyclist helps with this obviously:p ) and will harass me to shave them when/if I get lazy and allow them to get furry.

Those are the plastic ones that fit under the razor and hold 4 blades. There are 3 of those in a package. I have one unopened package of 12 blades that is sealed. The other package I opened, but haven't used the two 4 packs. I could sell them for $1 per razor, but first I want to try this schick razor, and see if it's worth upgrading. These are naturally aspirated Mach 3's, not the turbo model ;)

Same thing about the ankles. I think anyone who's shaved their legs has a scar around at least one of their ankles.
Yes, I shaved there because I taped my ankles for football and rugby.

I've taken a nice strip of skin of the front of my shins a few times as well. That feels super.
