I recently purchased the Schick Quattro 4 from my local shoprite a few days ago.
It was on sale for 50% off 7.99 - 50% off = 3.99
If you check your local newspaper there is another 2 dollar coupon inside making it 1.99.

Quattro 4

Technology: Schick knows what you want in a shave - no nicking or cutting, and a closer, more comfortable shave - and QUATTRO delivers upon these needs with the latest technology:

1. Four blades precisely synchronized to maintain optimum contact with the skin at all times for the closest, smoothest shave ever.
2. Two conditioning strips with Vitamin E and Aloe positioned before and after the blades provide a close and comfortable shave.
3. Handle ergonomically designed for advanced precision, control and maneuverability.
4. Synchronized blade pack design minimizes nicking and cutting and provides easy rinse.

First Glance:

The packaging is done very nicely. Easy to open up and use.
The handles felt solid but a bit heavy. I prefer it to be a bit more lighter, so that I can carve up and down my face without much effort.

The Actual Shave:

I paired this razor up with a Gillette Shaving Gel (Sensitive Skin).
I first washed my face with warm/hot water to soften up the hair on my chin and upper lip.
Then I lathered up the shaving gel and massaged around it for about 2-3 min.
Then comes the razor.

I usually always go against the grain to get the maximum cut. Overall I didn't even notice the blades. It was smooth as butter.
I thought nothing could beat the Mach3 or the Mach3 Turbo, but this razor is just as good.
I at times get irritated skin using the Mach3 due to me going over some spots more than once or twice to get rid of all the hairs.
Tried the same thing with the Quattro 4 but I feel no irritation at all. From the first shave to the last shave, it was smooth as butter.

Conclusion

Pro: Very well constructed. Sleek Design. 4 blades of shavin luvin. You don't even notice there are blades because it's so smooth

Cons: A bit on the heavy side. Especially compared to the Mach3.

Conclusion: at $1.99 for this razor (using the coupon from the Sunday Paper at Shoprite), you can't go wrong. The average street price is 7.99 which comes with 2 cartridges. It's worth it and a good alternative to the Mach3.

**UPDATE**

Shaved 2nd time earlier this week, and it's still smooth as butter. I'm gonna give it a third shave today and see how it is.
I love that Vitamin E Aloe strips.

**UPDATE #2**

Today I shaved for the 3rd time with the same blade. It still smooth as silk :)
Got a c lose shave with no nicks or cuts ;)

Actually, I have not tried that one yet.
However, the Schick Extreme may be be better than the Mach 3.

Right now at shoprite, the 4 count Refilles are $3.99 - the 2 dollar coupon that's available in the newspaper making it 1.99 :D

I don't care about how it works the first time. My Mach 3 turbo was like heaven the first time I used it. After 4 shaves though, it starts to dull. Give us a review after a couple shaves and lets see how well it still does.

My hair grows back so quick that I usually save every 2 days or so. So I'll update each time I shave ;)

That's quick? I shave in the AM and have stubble before dinner...I hate being hairy!

I shave at like 8am then I get stubbles at around 4-5pm. But it's the type that I don't need to shave cuz it doesn't look that dirty.
