Finally got the website for the company I work for completed. Check it out while I port it to the current site!

Let me know how the load times are.

Looks really good. The first page's flash is a little obnoxious, though, what with all the giant snowflakes and all. If you decrease the size and slow down the snowflakes it'll look better. :^)

Also some of the flashes on the Digital Media tab load a little slow, especially Digital Merchandiser, where all three sections load separately. I guess there's no way around it, though?

Otherwise, it looks really good.

That actually works really well. The text and information is easy to read, the links are labeled appropriately, and best of all, the site is simple.

Flash is unnecessary, a static image would do fine.

Everything is easy and clean, and well done overall. Load time was fine, except for flash, but I am at the moment on a slow laptop with wireless connection maxed out, so it's probably quick on my main pc and for everyone else.

I don't understand the url. what does it have to do with the website?

It's his personal website domain, and he was apparently just testing the code for his work's webpage.

Will I Fit is Quasmo's thing, he likes to see if he can fit into those coin-operated vehicles you see in front of Wal-marts and stuff.

make the text black so that it's easier to read.

This too. I could read the gray fine, but that doesn't mean that everyone can/ There's really no reason to have the text anything but black in this case.

EDIT: I'd also add a bit more line spacing. I can't really tell what it is now, but maybe try maybe 3 or 4px. I personally put a little more space in my stuff when I design because I think it looks better and improves legibility.

Are you talking about the flash on the home page or the flash on the product pages?

The flash on the home page will eventually be just a static image, the execs told us to make it flash for the holiday message.

Can you make a static image, perhaps without snowflakes, that goes behind the flash while the flash loads?

The page loaded in about 1 second, but the flash took about 3 seconds.

Now, on my parents slow DSL it took about 30 seconds for the flash to load.

looks good imho.

i would change the pos screen shots to gifs if possible as they will probably fit in the 256color scale and be a bit sharper - to me the jpg looks blurry

as others, the snowflakes - looks like a blizzard to me

and again, as others - the site pops up but the flash is coming in slow, only 200-300KB/s and i am on a 1.2MB/s cable connection so things take a bit to load.

When I clicked the Point of Sale link, I noticed that under the 'Enterprise POS Solution for Cinema' heading, the individual products talked about in each paragraph didn't have their names separated from the other text in any way. Honestly, I didn't even notice I was reading about different products until I'd already made it about half way down the column.

Aside from that little issue, I think ti's a really nice design!

Needs more pictures of overgrown man children trying to cram themselves into tiny spaces.
