Compare it to the other small ute's - Escape/Tribute, CR-V, Rav-4, ect and it doesn't look so bad. It only misses them by a MPG or two, but yet it still produces about 60% more power.

Not bad if you as me.
 
They did a full review of the Forester XT on MotorWeek this weekend and their 0-60 run was timed in a much more believable 6.2 seconds. That's still damn quick.

Only 2400lbs towing capacity though. Shame, since it sounds like a performer. Maybe Subaru will decide to make a mid-sized SUV with similar specs.
