she records herself giving a blowjob and sends it to ex-boyfriend.
the ex releases it on the internet.
she is slut shamed.

reddit/4chan has a translation of what she was saying inbetween the sucking.
one of the things she said was "You're filming? Bravo" and it became a catch phase in Italy.
T-shirts were made.

she moves to another part of Italy but she is recognized.
the video was made years (?) ago and she committed suicide this week.

it only took me 5min on google to find a short clip.

How do you do something like this and not ask the question "How could this ever backfire on me?"

She got what she deserved, plain and simple. You want attention? You got attention. Can't handle the attention you asked for? Not our fault.

The "Calls for justice" from the "Victim's" Family is fucking hilarious too. Right to be forgotten, etc.. etc... only Europe can be so stupid as to think you have the right to dictate what should be in everyone else's brain.

Slut shaming shouldn't exist. Your acceptance of that as reasonable is indicative of the larger problem.

You can turn that off in your preferences.
Ahhh that's better. Thanks!

I'm not justifying slut shaming. It would be one thing if it was meant to be private video between a couple - then the couple breaks up and then the male trys to shame her by publicly releasing it... That's one thing.

This was a video of multiple parties that she then sent to someone for the sole purpose of hoping he feels jealous. That is pathetic. I'm not for slut shaming, I'm for getting what you deserve. And like I said, she clearly wanted attention, that is what she got.

Also, read the story, it's not really so much slut shaming. She simply became an internet meme altogether. Had nothing to do with calling her a slut.

It had everything to do with her being a woman involved in a sex act.

From the article:
Four people are under investigation by criminal prosecutors over alleged defamation of the woman, Italian state media ANSA reported.

"It's mainly a cultural battle -- also a social and political battle.
"Our commitment is try to do everything we can. ... Violence against women is not an ineradicable phenomenon."

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-37380704 said:
Author Roberto Saviano said the hostility towards Tiziana stemmed from what he described as Italy's "morbid" relationship with sex.

"I grieve for Tiziana, who killed herself because she was a woman in a country where uninhibited and playful sex is still the worst of sins," he wrote on Twitter.

Another commenter suggested that had Tiziana been a man - "if she were called Tiziano" - she would still be alive because men having sex do not attract the same kind of scandalised reaction.

It's pretty clear that society's antiquated attitude towards women's sexuality is the root of the entire problem. Was the end result precipitated by her sending the video out? Of course...but that doesn't justify the societal reaction. It should be a non-issue - so a girl gives a guy a blowjob. Who fucking cares?

CNN story doesn't say anything about her sending the video to ex boyfriend. Where is that coming from?

Agree to disagree as far as if it's an internet meme vs. just a "slut shaming" video.

But on another note, you're saying we shouldn't be shaming open sexuality in anyway. On the front of it I agree, but the world has always been the type that thinks anything relating to sex should stay in the bedroom. You're just as guilty of it yourself - When was the last time you had dinner with a couple and talked about how you pile-drived your wife last night? You didn't. No one does. I just don't understand how anyone can do something like this and think the rest of the world will have a good mental image of you. It's simply stupid, no question.

Of course it doesn't... that little tidbit doesn't fit the narrative.

The woman was by dictionary definition a slut and a whore. Whether or not you believe that is a good or bad thing is a personal choice, but it is a known fact she was.

She sent the video to ex-boyfriend for REVENGE. He uploaded it online for REVENGE.

They're both horrible, horrible people - sounds like they deserved each other.

The story clearly states that she sent the tape to her ex and three other people. If she didn't want any attention why would she do that in the first place? It's sad that she ended her life over her own mistake.

Your view of the "world" is pretty narrow.

I realize this incident did not happen in the US, but extrapolating your perspective to the whole world is foolish at best. That said, I don't disagree that's it was a stupid decision.

then the story must have been edited because I don't see any mention of boyfriend (current or ex) anywhere in the cnn link.

Her video was under a court order to be removed. I think that she was quite attractive myself and no I've not seen anything but the cnn video of her case.

She had to have been 90% insane to begin with. Since when is a blowjob video something that ruins a life? Hell, for many women (cough, Paris and Kim, cough) it's pretty much the only thing they've accomplished in their lives and their sole claim to fame. A whole lot of people saw a whole lot of celebrities in compromising situations during the Fappening, none of those women felt the need to off themselves afterward. She's not unattractive, she enthusiastically participates in oral sex, in most countries outside the Middle East that's the kind of thing that makes a woman popular, not ostracized.

That wasn't the best thought out idea...

Person One: I want to make my ex-boyfriend jealous, so I'll send him a sex tape of me and another guy.

Person Two: She made me so mad that I will do anything to get back at her now. I live in a society that likes to shame sluts and she provided me a sex tape... Whatever could I do?

Since when is a blowjob video something that ruins a life? Hell, for many women (cough, Paris and Kim, cough) it's pretty much the only thing they've accomplished in their lives and their sole claim to fame.

I actually agree. Americans shame sluts but love them at the same time. But OP's story is Italian which I believe is generally Roman Catholic which may have played a role. I've known a few people here from Italian families -- both appeared to be "Westernized" in terms of action but were still religious, one carried around a picture of Mary or some saint.

Edit: If you aren't seeing references to the ex-boyfriend, try this story from days ago...

theres an old joke about that, not sure if original story is true.

Girl breaks up with boy. Wants to make him angry. Sends old boyfriend a few pics of her sucking off new boyfriend, smiling, and giving a thumbs-up.

He mails the pics to her parents along with a note.
"Dear Mom and Dad, college is great, having lots of fun, please send more money."

Some of these comments are pretty bad, but I guess that's what I expect from most members of ATOT. I really wouldn't have replied and said this but wanted jlee to know he's not the only sane person here.

Why should anyone give a shit to begin with.

The internet is loaded with this kind of crap to begin with, if someone is stupid enough to put themselves above a legal age of consent, seeking attention, they can piss off in my mind.

If it isn't something illegal, they need to grow up and be responsible for their own actions on either end as far as posting.

You don't want it seen, don't fucking make a video.
