Reverse Proxy Servers???

Have you guys thought of getting some reverse proxy servers to put infront of your web servers?
They really can do wonders to take the stress of the web servers, just let the web/database servers do the dynamic data and the reverse proxy take care of all the graphics and other static data.

for what, because they had one day of super heavy traffic?

its been gone over and over, but most of the time the slowness problem is with the sprint servers on the way to and from anand's.

do a tracert and you'll see.

Yes, just because they had one day of super heavy trafic. Anandtech is a very large site, they have no excuse for letting their site go down for half of a day.

I know that wasn't the problem yesterday, thats why I asked, thats also why I said MOST of the time, so chill out office boy.

I don't know much about reverse proxy servers, it may be a good idea. I was only trying to make sure you weren't just complaining about slow connections, thats why most people step into this forum 🙂
