The kid interviewed for an internship at the local medical college for next summer. Obviously helps that the wife knows the dept head.... Anyway, hired, $15/hr.

11 classes working towards a stem major > 4 year history degree.

So one of the grocery stores here started selling wine the other day. 😀 Now I don't have to go across the street to the LCBO and make a 2nd trip when I'm doing groceries. 😛
 
Yesterday's community Thanksgiving dinner fed 2K+ people in 2 hrs. Enough left over to fill the bed of my truck 4 pans deep and the wife's RAV4 with deserts. Took that to the Salvation army and the lady said, "We never turn down any food." Told her that she'd better come look. 😛 They did take it all, intending to put a lot in the Kroc center's walk in freezer.

I'll do it for yesterday. I had a second, more in depth interview with a prospective software development job. It went really well I thought. Job sounds good but there's a couple things that I'm less than excited about, but not enough to make me stay where I'm at. I've been looking, mostly with help of recruiter but not solely, for like six weeks now and this is the only one that's showed any interest.

Except for also yesterday a co-worker forwarded me an email from a recruiter that he got (he knows I'm looking), and I ended up talking to him a while after 5 pm yesterday, and he's got multiple jobs in the general area that sound good and sound like they fit with my skills. He also said he could get me a lot more money than I'm making, where at the job I've interviewed at I'd make what I make now (which while not ideal is again not enough for me to reject it, I wanna get out where I'm at asap). Hopefully these other ones pan out but who knows.
 
Found my 25" bar for my saws! I needed it last weekend, but couldn't find it. Figured I left it at work, but it wasn't there when I looked. Finally started tearing the house apart, and thinking I left it at work, and my shit got stolen again. Found it on a shelf I don't usually use, with a bunch of stuff on top so I couldn't see it. Glad I got it. I was starting to worried. Might get some milling done this weekend depending on jul shopping goes :^)
