I saw a ringtail last night, very cute. :) It was climbing around in a tree above the motel where I was staying. No pics, too dark for my puny flash. :(

Got a flat tire last Wednesday in which Discount Tire said they couldn't repair because it was in the sidewall. All tires that fit my rims were out of stock, so I had to order them. Just got a call they got them in and I have an appointment set for 5pm to have them installed.

About four years ago we relocated our office. When we moved, we bought all new office chairs and disposed of the old chairs. I liked my old chair, it fit my butt, but the person in charge of the move was adamant that we were not taking any of the old furniture and that we would get Aeron chairs and that we would like the. I hate my Aeron chair. It pinches nerves and makes my legs fall asleep. Yesterday while assisting a coworker in another section of the office I spied one of the old chairs in their conference room. A deal was made and my butt is comfy once again. :)

Bought some shoe laces today and opened the package only to realize that there were two pairs of shoe laces in there rather than just one pair. Now I have an extra pair of laces.

I just googled about it.

I am so dissapointed in humanity sometimes.
The stupidity seems to know no end...

I like the explanation about the south park episode. I wonder if it is true, if that is what the writers intended.

I know, right? Having a day for kicking gingers is small thinking. Kick a ginger day should be every day that ends in "y".

An old guy I know had some trouble with his email. A sidebar in the web interface wasn't loading. To look at it, he sent his login information to me via email so I could check it out. It's not as bad as it sounds. You could crack his password with an abacus, so doing that didn't significantly decrease security :^/

I took a look at it, and it appeared ublock was blocking some of the content. There's a bug with how the logger interacts with firefox, and I didn't know how to get around it at that point, so I told him to disable ublock on his email page, and included a helpful screenshot on how to do it. I also explained I installed ublock to help prevent malware, so it was implied that it's a Bad Idea™ to globally disable it. Well, he said he tried my suggestion, but it didn't work. Huh... I wonder what he /really/ did...

Try it again a couple days later, and it works fine, even with ublock enabled. I write back to tell him, but he says it still doesn't work for him(???). Says he'll get his daughter to look at it cause she's a computer something or other, and thanks me for looking at it. I don't like being defeated by computers, but am leery of dealing with the humans, so I don't pursue it.

I just got an email thanking me for fixing the issue. Apparently it's working fine now, and I'm the hero. I'll take it I guess. No idea what happened, but I assume it was on the provider's end :^/

Got my new headphones hooked up and working.(Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro).

(Replacing my old Sennheiser HD 558s).They sound so much clearer and crisper than the Sennheisers,I'm amazed.

Imagine you have cotton in your ears(sounds being muffled),and than you take it out,and you can hear normally.

That's the difference between the DT770 Pros and my old HD 558s.

Yeah that one is a slippery bastard. I caught and ate the rest of them since you ate my steak.
Well, you'd better hurry. It dive bombed the wife yesterday (her words) so it's on the shit list, atm.

I'm pretty sure he just zipped by her head. Probably scared himself more than her.

That was a tasty steak.

He was just trying to assert his dominance.

Wow that's quite the drop. Rain tends to do that though. We could probably use some rain here to cool things down, and it would help for the forest fires.
