Reverse a Movie

Does anybody know of any software that can play a .mov file in reverse? I can convert it to a different format if needed. This is just a special effects thing I'm working on for home.

I used to shoot 16mm movies on film, and to get reverse motion, we simply held the camera upside down, shot the action, and then spliced in the clip right side up and it was reverse motion.

That might be a start, I didn't have time to read through it, one of those stupid work rules, :roll: but do you know if it can be saved to disk in the reversed mode?

I use Sony Vegas for video editing, which has a reverse feature. Of course, that might be a bit more than you need if it's the only thing you're trying to accomplish.

I saw Sony has a 30 day trial, I only need to reverse a 2 minute clip so that should work.

You could write a quick avisyth script. You'll just need the QTsource plugin
