i was thinking about signing them up for a lot of porn (i know their email address cuz it is in the neighborhood directory)

This is what you do and you need to be very carefu though, sneek in at night and install windows Me on all their computers, and hide their restorations discs, in the morning OWNED! :evil:

i don't know about you guys but i'd be pissed if my primary email account was cluttered with porn spam

If the ramp is in the street it is most likely blocking the 50 foot turn-around radius required by fire trucks. Call the fire department out to your cul-de-sac for a looksee. Check your city's noise ordinance and call the cops on them for disturbing the peace. Never start anything with unemployed white trash, they have more free time on their hands!

A lot of places, when you sign up, your IP is logged...

3 questions:
1. Is it in the street? If no, proceed to question 2.
2. Is it on the sidewalk? If no, proceed to question 3.
3. Is it used late at night when most noise ordinances would be in effect?

If you've answered no to all 3 of these questions, then: too bad. Learn to deal with it.
In all seriousness, I don't see that a half-pipe is even close enough to warrant a valid complaint. So, go back to pressing your wildflowers or whatever your hobby is, and let then neighbors enjoy themselves at their houses.

I went through a similar thing with some people 4 or 5 doors up the street from us. WE had the bike ramps, etc. One of their kids came over and started using it, but we didn't want the liability if he got hurt, so we told him no. After that, his mom called the police. Police were really nice about it, said they personally didn't see a problem with it, but technically, it couldn't be on the sidewalk (They stated that even if they were in the neighborhood, they wouldn't have said a thing, but the other people had complained) So, we moved it to the drive-way, police said that location would be fine. Kids and their friends had a ball on it. Neighbors called the police again. Police drove by our house, went to their house and told them to stop making false reports - we were doing absolutely nothing wrong. Our immediate neighbors didn't have a problem with it, and we respected the times when they would be trying to rest at night.

If the pipe is in the street, call the cops.

If it's on their own land, you and you mom should find somethign to do with your lives.

Uh... they're not doing anything wrong unless they're doing it early in the morning or late at night. So get over it. And your mom was wrong.
 
Americans have such hard lives. People have to live under horrible conditions, such as listening to children playing outside.

uh just got back from some counterstrike

and i am aware that i can't really do anything if it is during the day but they have been doing it at about 10-11pm which is why i'm pissed (i have exams to study for) and also i live in the woodlands which has a lot of regulations about what you can and/or can't do and my mom called the woodlands associacion (if basicaly runs the community) and they said that they would have to have gotten a license in order to install that (you have to for pools and other stuff) and the person said that their records don't show my neighbors having applied for said license and they said they would investigate it

I take it the woodlands is an HOA, in which case :thumbsup: to you, that's exactly what an HOA is for.
