ok, i just suffered through most of an awful E! show to see it, and YES!!! my GOD this movie will kick ass! any naysayers can go to hell. 😀😀😀😀😀😀

i was excited about the first 2 after seeing the trailers, and they were terrible, so i am not getting to excited about this one even after a pretty cool trailer.

was i not clear enough?

personally, i think 1 and 2 were underrated. no, they werent half as good as the original trilogy, and no 3 wont be any better- but theyre still fun to watch. and ill go see it a dozen+ times and enjoy it every time.

Parts of episode 1 and 2 were fun to watch. The action is good; the special effects are great. The dialogue, especially anything spoken between Anakin and Padme, is absolutely painful.

And with the third installation in the prequel trilogy, I feel like the bastardization of everything concerning the original movies is coming to a head.

as per the last 2
the action and effects should be ok
the script, plot and acting should make my nuts cringe in pain

and vader rising while strapped to a table looked cheesier than any creature in any frankenstein movie.

all he had to do to make vader cool was let him walk out of a room unexpectedly and kill someone...and he straps him to a table.

are you serious? star trek is the most boring show ever. with awful acting and horrendous effects- the next generation movies are decent, but everything else is pretty terrible. except the one movie with the whales, that one was good too.

now now... they've gotten progressively better... as in, the 2nd one was at least better than the first, so the third one still has a chance.

From where they left Anakin in Episode II, and where Darth Vader ends up in Episode IV (the original Star Wars), I'd say something pretty fvcking drastic is going to have to happen in Episode III to bridge that plot gap. How many people do you know that can go from whiny-bitch-dawson's-creek-reject to bad-ass-galactic-dominator-so-dont-fvck-with-me?

[EDIT] Corrected something before the spelling nazis got here.

the "romantic" scenes were painful to watch because of the bad dialogue and total lack of chemistry.

the writing wasn't much better in 4-6, but at least the cast had great chemistry with eachother.
