25% graduation rate in Detroit? I would guess it's all those diabolical "white" teachers telling the kids to not show up for class, to not do homework or studying, and to join gangs. And let's not forget when Ms. Appletree hands out greenies during recess.

There are many problems when it comes to race relations in the United States. To attempt to divert the very real issue of white -> black discrimination by touting probably the worst figures you could possibly find is disingenuous.

I agree with little to nothing of what Reverend Wright said, but don't be an idiot. It's not a single-issue problem.

Well you have a guy saying the USKKKA is a country that is fundamentally oppressive to blacks, is supplying minorities with drugs to continue that oppression, and is holding back the cure for AIDs because it most effects blacks and the poor as the reasons for the current condition/struggles of "colored" people.
 
At the same time we're seeing as low as a 25% high school graduation rate in minority dense urban areas along with 20 something percent of adult black males in jail.
 
Instead of an empty suit giving some "pretty" speech that we're all different and the same, how about doing something about the above statistics as that would probably go a whole lot farther to benefit the entire country as well as any particularly cultural group than blowhard statements about "whitey".

So I guess sitting on the board at Wal-Mart is more important than working on the community level?
